was one of the most anticipated events of the Mobile World Congress this year, and Microsoft did not disappoint, judging from early reviews. Steve Ballmer today unveiled the new Windows operating system for smartphones Phone 7. The system is based on a simple and attractive graphical interface, featuring a main page of immediate impact, with several panels ("tiles") that automatically update with the main information of the telephone or the Internet (incoming messages, updates from social networks , etc.), user-customizable. Phone Windows 7 will revolve around six main themes ("hubs"): People, bringing together the contents of the various contacts, including phone and social networks, images, with links to photos on memory or on the web; Marketplace, which allows a quick search of applications, Office, will provide access to programs of the package, Music & Video, integrates multimedia content through the Zune, Games, allows access to Xbox Live through your smartphone, with several games and enabled the ability to interact with the online Xbox community. This is probably the real gem of this operating system. Over the course will be aggregated into one quick and intuitive interface many of the tools of communication available to the user's smartphone. Among the manufacturers who have applied Windows Phone 7 are Samsung, HTC, Sony Ericsson and LG. The first models are expected to ship this summer.
